This
is our beautiful boy, Tank. We adopted him from Partners for Pets in
Troy, IL at the end of last summer when he was just two months old. Tank is a
blast and attracts tons of attention where ever we take him. People always
want to know what kind of dog he is.
Our little Tank weighs in at a light 70 pounds but he thinks he's the smallest of
lap dogs. He finds great joy in sitting on his humans. Tank loves to play with
the smaller dogs at the dog park since in his mind he is a small dog. He is
also a bit of a chicken and easily becomes scared of things like ironing
boards, balloons and unfamiliar places. We love Tank and his sister Indy
thinks he's the best dog toy we every got her!
Hi My name is Tank! I am a big loveable boy and I love life! Some of of my
favorite things to do are playing frisbee, fetch and stealing socks from the
laundry! I also love going to the dog park and running through the giant
puddles with my sister Indy or any of the doggy friends I make! The muddier
the better!
I also love treats of all kinds and have a special dance to pay homage to the
treat before I eat it! It's a lot of fun! My mom and dad tell me that I am
very strong! I like to drag them on walks with Indy. Everywhere I go, people
are always stopping us to admire me. Everyone wants to know what kind of dog I
am and where I came from.
Mom and dad adopted me from foster care when I was just two months old! I'm so
glad to be part of their family and they say they can't imagine not having me!
Sometimes I get to go to work with mom and dad. Everyone there loves to see
me. Some of their coworkers even keep treats for visiting dogs! It's nice to
go to work but sometimes I get bored! It is more fun to play than work! And at
the end of a long, hard day of play, I like to snuggle with my sister Indy,
even though she growls at me and wants me to leave her alone! I know she still
loves me and eventually I win and get to snuggle.
This is a video of me doing my Dog Bone Dance.
