Dusty
is special in so many ways! When he was five months, old he had to
go to a specialist and found out that he had a blockage. With the surgery
being so unbelievably expensive, and Dusty being a puppy, our vet did not
recommend the surgery. My husband and I both had already fallen in love
with him and decided to do the exploratory surgery on the little guy. Low
and behold, Dusty came through with flying colors and he's now a very
healthy and happy dog! He is the easiest going dog you could possibly
know. He never meets a stranger and loves everyone - men, women, kids, and
other dogs. He is also a singing beagle. When I sing he begins to howl
right along with me. He loves to ride in the car and go to the groomer.
I never had a beagle before Dusty, but after having him, I realize there
could never be a more intelligent and loving breed!!! His personality is
amazing. He is just like a small child when he wants something, and he
knows at exactly 8:30 every evening that it is "Frosty Paw" (doggy Ice
Cream) time. He will go over and sit in front of the freezer and begin
talking to me. I don't know what we would do without our little boy, as he
brings so much love and happiness into our home!
