This
is my sweet boy, Dodger. My husband and I adopted him from a shelter
when he was three months old. He had been abused and found on the side of a
major highway. Can you believe that anyone could hurt that sweet face? Ever
since that first look at him, I knew that he would be my baby. He is a lab
mix but no one can seem to figure out what he is mixed with. He is all black
and looks like a lab but he has long legs. When he is sprawled out, he looks
like a deer. He likes to have his legs rubbed. It is adorable!
He is the most well behaved, well mannered, lovable sweetheart that you could
imagine. He loves playing with his toys (nylabones, his rope and his kong),
chasing the frisbee with his Dad and running around with big sticks in his
mouth. His favorite treats are baby carrots and milkbones. He also likes to
watch the AKC Dog Show, Cesar (The Dog Whisperer) and the K9 Advantix
commercial on TV. He likes it when his friends come over to play with him.
Dodger and his friends run and run and then at night when it's time for bed,
he is right there in between my husband and me, ready to snuggle. He is our
spoiled baby.
He also loves trips to Grandma's. She watches him whenever we go out of town.
And trust me, he gets spoiled there too. But he deserves it because he is
such a good boy!
I can't picture our lives without Dodger. He is a constant joy to everyone he
is around. Thanks for reading about my angel, I love him more than anything!
