Bella
is the perfect blend of each breed, at least we think so. Bella
has some of the easy-going retriever traits: obedient, gentle with
children, eager to play fetch or entertain herself with her toys. She
loves to be with people and is good with kids and other dogs. Bella is
very smart, in the time we have had her, she has learned how to sit,
give her paw, high-five, down and roll over. She is a great watch dog,
she barks to alert at the door if someone is outside. People stop us at
the dog park and ask what breed of dog she is as she is so beautiful!
Bella was rescued from a shelter at the last moment, is very thankful
for having been saved.
She is so affectionate,loves us all but is especially fond of my husband,
John. She is a 60 pound lap dog. Her eyes are the most beautiful amber and her fur
is the softest fur you can imagine. Her oversized ears give her that innocent
puppy appearance. She has stopped traffic, people ask us all the time "what
kind of dog is she?"
Bella' s full name is Bella dona (Italian for beautiful lady). She sits, down,
roll over, paw, high five, leave it she is soooo smart. She loves yogurt,
peanut butter, cheese. She loves to sample just about everything we eat. She
dislikes water, having her toenails cut and the UPS man. Bella doesn't swim
either!
Bella is truly a "gift" to our family! We love her. We just celebrated her
Happy Adoption Day on January 24th as we do not know when her birthday is. I can not believe
we have had her for a whole year already!
