Hi
my name is Buddy, I'm a three-year-old Doberman Pincher. I'm black
and rust and my breeder thought I might be a show dog but I kept growing
and growing. I guess that meant no shows for me.
I live in Oklahoma with my humans - momma and daddy - then I have a
little fur sister Patches, she is a Dachshund. My momma walks me with a
medical scooter so we can go further. Momma wanted me to be a Service
dog but could not find anyone to help train me, just because I'm a
Doberman. Now I am just a pet which is fine too. I howl at the sirens,
mostly the fire trucks. I know some obedience - shake hands, and I love
to fetch the ball, and last but not least I love treats.
I love to go on walks Mom has her medical scooter we go all over,
usually about three miles. Now that is winter, we do not get to go
because we have to take the batteries out of the scooter so they do not
freeze. Mom hopes to get a treadmill for me one day, but really there's
nowhere to put one in our little house. Patches gets to cheat when we go
for walks - she gets to ride sometimes. Not me, though, Mom says I'm too
big. I love treats! Sometimes Mom makes them herself and they are really
good. Then I love to play fetch with the ball in the back yard. I have
not gotten to do that when there is ice and snow in the backyard, so I
have been chilling out in the house sleeping.
I did go to dog school for a little while, and know all the obedience
commands did get my CGC title. CGC is a Canine Good Citizenship test.
Well, not much else to write about better, get off the computer before
Mom catches me!
