My
name is Ben. I am a Husky mix and I live in Chattanooga. My mom
rescued me one year ago from a man that was keeping me in a chicken
cage. I was only seven weeks old. She brought me home right at
Christmas. She says I am the "Best Christmas gift ever." I had Parvo and
worms. The vet didn't think I would make it, but I did! Now I am the
happiest dog in the whole world.
My mom tells me I am the cutest thing all the time. This is despite the fact
that I only have one ear that stands up and I am somewhat mischievous. I try
so hard to do what my mother tells me, but I am very stubborn. I know what she
is saying but I want to do everything "My Way." I love snuggling in the bed at
night with mom. She doesn't even need an alarm clock. I know when it is almost
6 a.m. and I start giving her kisses. She tells me I am the best alarm clock
ever.
I love talking. I talk all the time. I have a lot on my mind. Despite my
stubbornness, I am sweet as can be. Not a mean bone in my body. I am also
stubborn when it comes to eating. Some days I am starving to death and will
eat and eat. Other days I could take it or leave it. It drives my mom crazy.
But I try to tell her "I will eat when I am hungry!" See I told you I was
stubborn. I love digging holes. I am trying to get to China - or at least that
is what my mom says. I also love to swim. I have a kiddy pool and I love going
to the lake.
I went through a lot when I was little. But thank God for my mom. She loves me
no matter how stubborn I am or how many holes I dig!
