Tess
is special because she is my best friend. Her birthday is November 6, 2005. She is a black
brindle Boston Terrier.
She is also special because she is a retired show dog that became a therapy
dog back in June '09. She also earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate in
June, too. She is a specialized therapy dog because she goes to libraries and
sits with kids who have trouble reading. She's there to calm them down and
make reading fun. She does a great job! Tess lives in Wilmington, Delaware
with Harpo, another Boston Terrier.
Tess is mellow, friendly, loving, warm, and funny. Everybody is her friend.
She loves going to the vet. She loves to play and she likes to do "puppy
push-ups" [Sit and down in succession, over and over again] as her favorite
trick. He favorite hobby is eating and her favorite food is salmon. She loves
to go to the dog park and boss the other dogs around. She's not mean but
doesn't taken any stuff from other dogs. She is a kisser! She likes back rubs
and napping in her sun spot in the living room. When she wants something, she
likes to pat my leg with her paw and then she'll run to what she wants and
stare at it. If she wants to go out, she'll stare at the crack of the back
door until I open it! Squirrels are fun outdoor toys to chase!! She also loves
wrestling with her half-brother, Harpo.
