Chiquita
has been part of our family since she was a tiny puppy. She is a
sweet natured and busy chihuahua. One of her favorite pastimes is to hunt
squirrels in the backyard. She carefully stalks them like prey and chases
them up a tree, even though she's not much bigger. She loves the outdoors and
enjoys a good romp in the park just like the big dogs. If she meets a big dog,
though, watch out! She may let him know who's boss. And if that doesn't go
too well, Daddy is there to lend a hand.
Chiquita loves to go everywhere with her big sister, Penny. Whether we go for
a ride, to the park, or for a walk, Chiquita makes sure Penny is coming too or
she refuses to go! Her favorite place is right next to Penny on their
pillow where they love to look out the front door all day, keeping the house
safe. When Chiquita decides she wants to play, she'll bring over her lambie
and give a little "cough" to let you know. Then she is five pounds full of
energy running around or playing tug-of-war until she gets exhausted and needs
a quick nap. She looks so cute when she often falls asleep with her tongue
still sticking out. Chiquita is our busy chihuahua with a great big heart and
we love her!
