Hello!
I am nominating Kentucky Joe. Kentucky is a lovely little Yorkie who
has changed my life with his energy, mischief, and love. On a daily basis,
this little guy makes me laugh out loud. If he's not shaking the heck out of
his stuffed toy chicken, he's stealing my hair brush, or making off with my
socks! Kentucky loves to go on walks, play in the yard, and race circles
around my house. After his baths, he races around my house - trying to beat
the speed of light in an effort to dry off! He's recently discovered the joy
of digging holes in my yard and chasing dragon flies. Probably his favourite
activity is sitting in the window ledge like a cat and looking out the window!
He's a really small dog, so I wanted him to have a strong name. My great
Grandad was from Kentucky, so I mentioned to my Mom that I thought "Kentucky
Joe" was a good name. What I didn't know is that my great Grandad was named
"John" and when he moved to Canada, everyone called him "Kentucky John". Once
I found that out, I knew the name was set in stone. It was obviously meant to be.
Kentucky is definitely a shy little fellow when it comes to people. He's very
curious about them - as long as they're a safe distance away. As soon as they
get very close, he takes off running or hides behind "Mom's" legs! When it
comes to dogs, Kentucky loves to run and play and wrestle. He can't get enough
of play time with this buddies!
Kentucky is a top-notch cuddler, and his favourite time of day is the morning.
As soon as the alarm clock rings, Kentucky rolls to his back, and waits for
his morning belly rub. Full of mischief and energy, this little dog has
brought a huge amount of happiness to my life!
