Kilo
came to us when he was a little over five months old. A couple of us were out
running in the middle of nowhere at school in the mountains and this wrinkly (and I mean
wrinkly!), blue-tongued puppy who had so much mange he barely had any hair started
running with us. I had been thinking about getting a dog over the summer because I
missed having animals around, and Kilo just adopted me.
As you can see, he is now a beautiful boy. He has grown in to his wrinkles and has all
of his hair. When I first got him he was afraid of everything, but now he is fearless.
Although I have only had him a little over eight months, I could not imagine being without
him. He follows me everywhere (unless somebody is in the kitchen) and wants to go
wherever I go. He loves to go for runs and has not met a dog he doesn't like. I don't
know where he gets it, but he loves to herd cows. If we can't find him at home, that is
where you are most likely to find him. He loves the water and loves to chase the ducks
out of the pond, but he hates the rain. Rawhide bones are probably his favorite thing
besides bringing home road-kill (gross!) and he loves car rides.
He likes to escape when we're in school and practice soccer and lacrosse with the boys.
He also likes to attend school as he goes on campus a lot to venture (it is a very small
campus) and everybody knows who he is. Kilo even gets along with cats. He is such a
gentle boy whether he is taking food from your hand or playing with the smallest dog you
have ever seen. He has such a personality and listens so well. We fit each other
perfectly, he was the best match for me. He was meant to find me and I love him more
than life itself!
