I
went to a local animal shelter to pick out a dog and Skippy came running
up to me as soon as I got out of my truck! The owner of the shelter had
told me that he was just returned, someone had brought him back after
having him for only three days! Now he is the love of my life and follows
me everywhere! I was told he is part poodle, Lhasa Apso, and terrier? No
matter what he is, he has brought my life much joy. He gets along great
with his big brother Bosco (black lab and Dalmatian mix) and my three cats,
he loves to play with them! We live in rural Wisconsin, and I am glad he is ours!
Skippy is very special in many ways. Skippy loves to give High Fives when
our team the Green Bay Packers score, he can fetch, and he especially loves
his squeaky brown squirrel toy that he entertains himself with by biting on
the squeaky parts and throwing up in the air to himself. He is extremely
friendly to anyone that is willing to pet him, he by far is the most
lovable dog I have ever had, he is true when it comes to unconditional
love. He is always waiting in the window for me to come home and then he
loves to jump all over me when I come in. He is even called my mom's first
"Granddog." If that does not make him special, I don't know what does!
