Lucy
is a Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen (a scent hound), she was born on
November 27, 2010 and she is now a new member of our family as of March
17, 2011. Lucy adjusted very well to her new surroundings and has made
great friends with Ernie, our west Highland White Terrier. She is a very
happy dog, and loves playing with her toys. She loves going on long walks,
even when she is tired so she can explore and meet lots of new friends.
Her favorite pastime is napping, and of course playing with her toys.
Ernie shares some of his toys with her that she really loves! Her favorite
toys are musical toys, really anything that makes noise. She especially
loves Christmas music, and even barks along with it.
Lucy is a very loving dog, and can be protective, whenever someone unknown
walks by without a dog, she barks until she knows they're not dangerous.
She loves her treats and dog cookies we make for her and Ernie. She isn't
fond of the cold, since it's winter here she usually is sitting inside on
her blanket unless it gets warmer out. She wakes up to 'warn' us of any
animals in our backyard, despite what time it is. She also loves watching
t.v and she has loved it since we brought her home.
She is the sweetest girl!
