This
is Kovu Lucius, otherwise known as just Kovu. I got his names from
Kovu off lion King and Lucius off of Harry Potter. He is an
eleven-month-old copper and white Siberian Husky, and quite tall for his
age group. His fur is very fluffy which can sometimes be seen as a
deformity in dog breeds such as huskies.
This gorgeous dog was my parents' way of convincing me to move from
Florida to West Virginia, and now Kovu is the only thing that keeps me
sane. We bought him from a couple in Ohio who lived on a street that had
the same name as my last name, so it was like he was my fate.
Although Kovu has been a hassle to teach the basic training he has learned
some interesting tricks such as; speak, up and pound it (high five). Our
latest issue with his is that he chews up everything. Since we have had
him he has chewed up at least $500 worth of merchandise. I have been
trying to exercise him a lot by taking him to the park and letting him run
all through the water and climb the waterfalls which he loves to do.
Overall, I am hoping that one day he will be as loyal to me as a police
dog, but I know he's still a puppy!
