Minkus
Ramone is believed to be half Beagle, half Mini Pinscher. Coming from
the Jersey Shore, she loves the sun more than the Jersey Shore cast. When
finding out my Christmas present was finally being able to get a dog, I saw
her face and took a four-hour drive with my dad to adopt her. There are not
enough amazing adjectives to describe her. Minkus has made this house a home
for the past five years. Running up to me the second I walk in, wagging her tail
and unsatisfied until she is kisses you at least 100 times, Minkus should be
honored.
Minkus is one of a kind. Her sassy walk and loving ways can get her out of
any situation (especially the ones that involve a sneak of our food)! She
loves long walks around the neighborhood where all the neighbors know her
name and wave to her. After a nice long walk she will enter the door, sit
until her leash is off and go into a running craze all around the house as
fast as lightning. The whole family just laughs as we hear her upstairs doing
laps around and comes racing back down. After her race she will sit by the
couch and bark. That bark means she wants to come on the couch and sit right
next to you. Later at night Minkus makes her rounds to see where she wants to
sleep for the night! If your door is closed, Minkus will knock, come in and
look at you under you open up the covers for her to jump in. She loves being
under the covers.
My family didn't believe me at first when I told them Minkus knew how to get
into my room when my door is shut. About two months later my mother witnessed
the whole thing, Minkus knows a spot on my door that, if she pushes it with
her paw, it sometimes opens. That is definitely one trick she had learned on
her own. As for sitting, laying and giving high fives, those tricks were
taught with love and treats. Minkus loves being petted, kisses on her head,
rubs behind the ears and people love giving them to her. Minkus major dislike
is the bath! If I put on my shower to go in, Minkus flies out the room! She
is very protective over us and loves barking at people that walk by the
house. She is definitely a leader of the others when playing with them. Not
only are people drawn to her but other dogs as well. She is an all-around
happy, funny, loving, charming puppy!
Minkus is from Marlboro, New Jersey, about twenty minutes away from the beach
even though she is not a fan of the water. She has a strong attachment to my
Dad, John. We all know deep inside My dad is Minkus's favorite. She loves
being in the car. If my dad is mowing the lawn you can asure Minkus is in the
passenger seat of the parked car just sitting with the door open!
