Missy
came to live with us in June of 2008. Her previous owners were moving
and not able to take her with them. Missy had the sweetest disposition and as
you will see from the pictures, was very well behaved and great with
children. My fiancee travels with his work and Missy was always ready for a
road trip to see him or to go to visit his family in North Carolina. We took
her with us whenever possible and took her camping this past summer. She
loved to be outside and chase the rabbits or squirrels that happened to
wander in to her yard, and to go for her daily walk.
Missy was diagnosed in October of 2008 with a mast cell tumor and she passed
away in November of 2009 because of that condition. She is missed every day
by both my fiancee and myself. I know we will someday have another dog in our
lives, but I don't think there will ever be another Missy. She was a very
special animal and I'm thankful every day that she came into our lives.
