This is Ginny. Doesn't she look sad? Not really! This old girl has more
spunk than some puppies! This look is only for the hotdog sitting on my
dad's plate at a family barbeque! She came to live with me when she was
only eight weeks old, having visited the breeder and there were two puppies
left, Ginny was the first to climb up on my lap and fall right to sleep.
Two months after bringing her home, she moved with me to Sacramento to
attend college! She was the perfect travel size dog! She got several
nicknames during this period of time, Squirrel, Ginny the Pooh and my all
time favorite, Weiner!
After college, she moved home with me and then we got our own place. A
year or two later, she began to get sluggish, so we brought her home a
friend, another mini Doxie! They became close friends and now they are a
troop of three after the adoption of her newest sister.
Ginny has been and still is the Queen around any house she goes into! She
has grandma and grandpa wrapped around her furry little paw. She eats
almost non-stop but hardly ever gains a pound. Her back is going but that
doesn't slow her down. She prefers a nice warm place to snuggle, usually
in front of the fire place. But don't let those sad eyes fool you, she
only wants something from you. And ... she will probably get it!
