Penny
is five years old, and she's only been in my family for a little
over a year, but I know I could never live without her. Penny is special
because she is my little angel. She loves running, rolling around in the
grass, and relaxing outside with a cool drink on a hot summer day. But
above all, her favorite thing to do is snuggle and get lots of attention.
An easy way to win her over is using her love of peanut butter sandwiches!
She is a little silly when she's out in public, barking at anything on
four legs and trying to greet anything on two legs, but that just adds to
her personality. She never tilts her head to the side, I interpret that as
her confidence in anything she does; my Penny, is never confused or unsure
of herself or anything else around her.
She has a genuine warm heart and loves to greet every person she meets
with a friendly kiss, a wag of her lovely tail, and occasionally a smile.
Because of her small size, when she wags her tail she also does a little
shimmy, and I gladly shimmy right back. She's not much of a guard dog, but
I don't need her to be, she is instead the best friend I could ever ask for.
