Milo
and Ruby are both rescues. Milo, who is possibly some sort of
dachshund mix, was my first dog of my very own and has been with me for
over a year and a half. Ruby, a Boston Terrier, just joined our family
about two months ago. They've quickly become two peas in a pod, despite
being complete opposites! Milo is rambunctious and playful and Ruby is a
lazy couch potato. Milo is totally dog-centric, while Ruby prefers the
company of humans. Milo is terribly smart and knows just about every trick
in the book (and then some). Ruby is a little bit simple and dopey (in the
most lovable way, of course)!
I imagine they've bonded over common ground, finding joy in the little
pleasures in life - romping around the dog park, dining at sidewalk cafes,
riding in the car, snoring on the couch, and playing long games of
tug-of-war. They're my little dynamic duo and they bring laughter to every
single day of my life. You try waking up each morning to a wiggly
dachshund mix and a snorty Boston Terrier and just try to face the day
without a big grin on your face! :)
