This
is Dozer, we got him when he was ten weeks old and he was such a
cheeky puppy. He would never just sit and let you pet him, he always had
to bite your hands. But he grew out of that and was such a good gentle
boy. He would stand in front of you and lean on you while you petted him
and if you stopped, he would nudge you for more. He also liked to pull
your socks off and give you "flea bites" on the bottom of your feet.
One day when we were outside an old friend stopped by. Dozer was a little
unsure of him and kept barking (I think it was his mustache), so I put him
inside. We heard some thumping and looked around and there was his dopey
face and floppy ears hanging down from the garage roof. He was so
determined to examine our visitor he ran right upstairs, popped out the
window screen and climbed onto the garage.
He unfortunately stared getting sick when he was six and needed medication
every day. He did good for another year, but the sickness was too strong
and we had to put him down. We all love him so much and miss him every day.
