Here
are some pictures of my dog, Midge. Midge is a Cocker Spaniel and she
is seven years old. She has always been full of beans and even though
she's getting old, she still acts like a puppy. When she has her haircut
she comes back from the "salon" like a different dog and spends the first
few days post-cut running around the house and garden.
One of Midge's favorite activities is to steal socks and bury them in the
garden so that when Dad digs the garden in the spring he often uncovers
socks lost in previous years. She also likes to beg for biscuits, which
are kept on a chest of drawers that's just too high for her to get to them
- that doesn't stop her getting her paws on the drawers - perhaps one day
she thinks she'll get to them...!
Midge spends a lot of time asleep but she is up like a shot when you come
through the door and is always very happy to see you. She jumps up for
fuss and then runs away, down the hallway to the end of the kitchen only
to run right back to you and jump up once again. She usually does this
about five times before deciding that she needs a biscuit.
Midge enjoys mixing and playing with other dogs but she always likes to be
the boss, even to dogs a lot bigger than her, which usually involves
stealing their food when they are not watching! We love her a lot.
