This
is our Lily Bradford. The day before Thanksgiving of 2010, we had to
put our dog down due to health reasons. At that time, we were definitely
not getting another dog.
As time went on, we realized we had to have a dog in the house. We missed
the presence of an animal so much. At that time, we decided to get a rescue
dog, however, a friend said she knew of someone who had a Golden Retriever
that was due to have puppies that would be ready at the beginning of
February 2011.
Intrigued, we went to visit and fell in love with the girl puppy who later
became our Lily! She has been such a joy to us while being a challenge at
the same time. Lily loves to walk with her dad, but some days, she's just
not into it. She will sit down and not move. She loves to play, chew, and
run around, but her first love is swimming. We put Lily in the pool over
the summer and she took to the water very quickly. During the summer, there
is no keeping her out until she is too tired to move. She has a great
playful personality that we adore.
We love Lily with all of our hearts and are so happy she came into our
lives. She can be challenging in these puppy years, but she is a true joy.
