Koumo
is special to me because of the beginning we had. I was there when he
was born and even had to assist in helping him come out. He was upside down,
backwards, the first puppy ever for his mother, and most of all he was larger
than normal size. It took a whole hour to get him to breathe. We did not
expect him to survive, but he did! At first sight I whispered his name, not
knowing what it meaning was. I had other names that I had come up with
beforehand but none fit him. I always say he named himself, at least that how
I see it. It is a Japanese name, it's hard to find the definition online, but
if you seperate Kou and mo you can eventually find their meaning. Koumo
together means happiness for all. That sounds like him? Yep!
He's my special boy. Even to this day he knows he is my baby and gets real
jealous if I give another dog or cat more attention then him. Even though he
is young he is huge! Right now he is taller and slightly longer than his
mother. When I finally got to see his father again, I got to see that Koumo
has a larger head than his father. His father beats him in size slightly but
not for long!
Koumo is very calm and passive. He's more of a momma's boy, and loves going
for walks. He is shy and does bark, but if someone was to look past that,
they would fall in love with him, too!
