Jessie
is actually the daugter of our older bulldog, Carley. She was born so
close to Christmas that all of us were so stressed out! (She turns two on
December 28th, 2012.) We had to wake up every hour to take care of the
puppies, but she's grown up to be so playful and sweet. She loves to beg for
food, and has the perfect face for it, too. She's still growing, and has
ruined at least two pairs of my shoes, and countess pairs of everyone else's!
She's really really friendly around our family, but she's a bit protective of
us around strangers. She was always a hard one to find toys for, because she
always chewed them up in a day. She loves to chase her mom and our other dog,
just running around the house in circles. She's really playful and friendly,
and loves to sniff people's legs and just beg for attention. If you start
petting her, be prepared to commit to petting her for a while, because when
you stop, she'll just stare back at you with that sad look on her face.
As energetic as she is, she sits still and lets me take pictures of her,
which is more than I can say about her mother!
