We
got Charlie around the time of my birthday. I wanted another dog so my
other dog could have a playmate during the day when we weren't home. We found
a lady on a website who had Shih Tzu Pekingese mixes (Shinese's) and we
emailed her. That weekend we went to meet her at a park. She brought some of
her puppies with her too. We couldn't decide between two of them so she let us
bring them both home to do a "try and buy." We realized that night we wanted Charlie.
In the weeks and months since we got him, he is such a happy addition. He is
now ten months old, but will be one year on 10-6-12. He is so funny and
silly. He will go hide any of your clothes and shoes under something so you
really have to hunt to find them. He loves food. Also, he absolutely loves
his leash. He will walk around the house with it forever! Sometimes he sleeps
with it. When he needs to go outside he will bring the leash to us. Charlie
is such a cuddle bug too. My other dog, Miko, and him love playing together.
They never stop!
Sometimes we will bring out a laser, like a cat would chase, but Charlie will
be so into it! When we put it away, he will go stare at the wall and wait for
it. Charlie is such a happy dog and a good dog too. He has some incidents but
you always have to laugh afterward! They have had their share of fights but
at the end of the day there like a "brothers from another mother."
