This
is my dog Lowiz. She is a mixed-breed dog between Schiller Hound and
Beagle. We picked her up in Alvesta, Sweden, where there was a large
litter of dogs and my parents got stuck on a black dog. Then I saw Lowiz.
She was alone, had wrinkles on her forehead and looked miserable, and
after many ifs and buts, I got her.
What makes Lowiz unique is her behavior. In the evening when it's time to
sleep, she jumps up to the bed and pushes up the covers then puts herself
under the covers, just like a human, and she sleeps there all night. She
sits on the couch and watches TV, and she cries if you leave her and she's
jumping for joy when you come back.
When she was little, she always took my old cuddly toy rabbit that I had
when I was a child when I was going to school and she lay down at the door
and held the rabbit until I got home. She never break it, which she did
with everything else, she just lay there and waited and she could smell me
through the rabbit.
What makes her extremely special is that she got my father to agree that
she can lie in beds and sit on the couch, which no dog has ever been able
to do. She is really good at flirting with him and with the rest of the
family and we all love her very much!
