Here
is our Samson (a.k.a. - the Samminator, Sammy Ham Bone, etc). As you can
tell by the pictures, he is an extremely aggressive dog. He will suddenly
attack squeaky toys, cookie jars, and occasionally us when he jumps on the
bed. He pins you down on your chest with his paws and rains viscous kisses
upon you. We really have no defense against him.
Sammy is the first mixed breed dog (lab and Golden) we have ever had. Simply
put, he is an angel. He loves every person and animal he meets. Clearly he
has the temperament of a Golden, always looking for attention and love. He
lives to be hugged and kissed. Every time you kneel down and hug him, he
replies with the saddest series of happy wimpers and groans - especially as
he curls his paw over your arm.
We adopted Sam ten+ years ago when we had our Lab Bo. They instantly became
best friends. When we lost Bo two years ago, Sammy turned gray in six months (we
think because he missed him so). So we make up for it with as much attention
(and snacks) as he can take. Sammy also makes everyone's day when he visits
the nursing home - he is very popular there.
Sammy is our angel, bringing us love every day. From the moment he wakes you
up on the bed (groaning and nudging you to get up) until its time for him to
curl up on his bed, he brings nothing but smiles to us.
We love ya Dear Sammy!!!
