Introducing
Snickers! She is an adorable, seven-month-old Lab/Husky mix
who lives in the great state of Michigan. Snickers was a rescue puppy
along with her six other brothers and sisters. She was the only puppy of
the litter to have any other colors on her than black and the moment we
saw her we knew that she belonged in our family. Snickers loves to cuddle
in bed and snuggle up with you. She even loves resting her head on the
pillow with you as you sleep. For the first few weeks we had her she would
actually sleep between our two heads, but she's a little too big for that
now. She is also a very protective dog and when she hears a noise she
doesn't like she will stand next to you and guard you, as if to say, "I've
got your back."
Snickers loves to run around and play and she adores catch. In fact, she
has been able to pick up on this game without us having to teach her! One
of her favorite parts of being able to run around outside is finding new
sticks on that ground that she can play with. Her newest game is to even
play fetch with herself! She will throw the stick in the air with her
mouth and try to catch it again before it hits the ground. She is
extremely smart and catching on to things quickly. She has already learned
to run on a leash which may be her favorite part of the day, getting the
chance to get out all of her energy in running around the neighborhood.
Snickers also enjoys meeting other dogs and has a lot of friends that she
hangs out with! She wants everyone to be her friend and she is so excited
when she gets to meet new dogs and people, she is a very curious puppy.
Her most current adventure is to seek out birds, she loves being sneaky
and trying to pounce to see if one day she will catch one. Snickers has
made many road trips with us, one of them was going to the groomer and
while she was there she fell in love with the blow dryer! In fact, when
you are blow drying your hair she will lay at your feet to feel the heat
Although we have some accidents here or there, Snickers has become
completely potty trained within the first three months of having her. We
are very lucky to have such a wonderful, playful and loving dog that
stands by our side, protects us and enjoys having fun too.
