Max
is special because when we first saw him in a newspaper in Rhode Island.
My family had been looking for a dog for a while. Max was about to be put down
when a women from the shelter took pity on him and used her own money to put
an ad for him the paper. He was two then and was so so happy to be out of there.
He went on the road trip across the country to his new home in California with
us. He is a mixed breed, we were told he is a Golden Retriever/Husky/Border
Collie mix. He was a spaz for years but now he has calmed down and become the
best dog ever. He is so sweet and will go wherever you want without a leash
even at his age of twelve. He is great with kids they can climb all over him. He
is also great with cats as shown in the last picture he often curls up with
them. He shows that when given a chance even a rejected dog can be the best.
