Doyle, the Dog of the Day
Name: Doyle
Age: Six and a half years old
Gender: Male Breed: Miniature Schnauzer
Home: Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Doyle is a little dog full of life - he truly loves his life. He is six and half years old, but you would think he was still a young puppy. Doyle loves playing frisbee and he will never leave you alone in the backyard unless you play frisbee with him for a minimum of twenty minutes. He loves to go on walks, run, and fetch sticks. He likes to fetch as much as a retriever, if not more.

Doyle has a few quirky characteristics - he will bark non-stop if you ever sneeze. It is one of his weird quirks and I have never been able to figure out why he does it. He starts to bark and then jump around whenever anyone sneezes. He will run half way across the house to see who is sneezing and then starts barking at them. Doyle also spends a great deal of time getting his pillow just right at night. He spends a lot of time digging at his pillow (and sometimes the couch) just trying to make it just right before he goes to bed. Luckily, he has not done any damage to his bed or the couch.

Unlike a lot of schnauzers, Doyle only barks at other animals (and at sneezes). He is relatively a quiet schnauzer. He has a special love for squirrels, bunnies and small birds (chasing after them often). He really likes cats, but they do not have much time for him.

He also loves the country, camping and hiking. He recently went on an eight-mile hike in northern Minnesota and loved every bit of it. Doyle has a brother, Festas, and they enjoy each other's company.
