Meet
Casey the Beagle. We had gotten him about three months ago from a woman
who was fostering him. His original owner abandoned him about a year ago
and we suspected it was due to a pending divorce. It was either adopt or
he'd end up at a shelter. He is a Purebred English beagle, they are
stockier than American Beagles. What makes this pup so special is his
outgoing personality, well behaved manners and his ability to be a total goofball.
Casey understands "Sit", "Speak" (which he just learned recently) and
"Out." He knows "Casey Poopie" means it's bathroom time. He loves tug and
fetch. He can be quite the chewer, so his Kong fetch ball keeps him happy...
ropes don't last him very long. He loves walks in the park (except on
really hot days). He loves chasing rabbits, his squeaky ball, sniffing
everything possible and will consume anything edible. If he finds it on
the floor, it's his. If he can get it in his mouth, it instantly is his.
But now that we all know that, life is good!
