Lucie
is a very energetic and lovable dog, although she thinks of herself
as more of a human. She frequently sits on the couch like us and will try
to get into chairs., too. She wants to be part of everything we do, as you
could probably guess! She was rescued from a puppy mill in Tennessee in
April 2009. She was named after the character, Lucie, from the novel, A
Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. When some people see her they think
she's still a puppy, but she is full grown - as much as she'll ever get -
at two years old. She is extremely protective of her family, even though
if someone ever was to break in, she would run away and hide. Her biggest
fear is the fire alarm beeping when steam gets too near it. Lucie is the
cutest and most playful dog I have ever known.
