My
dog's name is Holly. She is the funniest dog you
will ever meet. She loves to be around people. Holly was the biggest puppy
from a litter of eight and had the biggest paws ever at just eight weeks. She
finally grew into them by age one. By age two, we had tried to take her
into obedience school but she flunked out by the third week. She only
knows one trick and that is to grab someone's arm and take them to the
cupboard where her treats are stored.
She does this thing that, every time we let her outside and no matter how
long she is out there, whenever she comes back in she acts like it is the
first time she has ever been inside. Holly never barks unless it's for a
puppy treat. I think she is the only Golden "Retriever" I know that
doesn't retrieve. She's just never been interested in that. She is more
content laying at your feet than playing outside. She is also afraid of
the dark. But she doesn't mind being shop-vacc'd, as you can see in the
picture! Holly means the world to me and brightens my day every day. I
love her with all my heart.
