Killer
is pretty much the exact opposite of his name. He was given to my
husband when the dog was two years old, not sure why anyone named him that
(other than to be funny because he is really just a big teddy bear) but
that's what it is. When my husband and I met, Killer went from being an
only dog to living with my pack of three siberian huskies. This may have
been a problem with a lot of dogs, but not Killer; he took everything in
stride, they were all friends right away.
Even though he definitely has different personality traits than the
huskies he fits right in, I call him the honorary husky. He even rolls
around in the snow with them. He is just one of those all around good dogs
- he loves everyone he meets, he's alway happy to enjoy life, his only
fault is that he's a bit on the stubborn side and if he doesn't want to do
something, good luck getting him to do it. He loves to play fetch - throw
a tennis ball and you will be his new best friend. He also loves to swim,
we took him to Lake Powell (in Utah) last year and I'm pretty sure if a
dog could choose his heaven, that would be it for him.
