Hi
I would like you to meet Donald, our Border Collie mix. Donnie is about
seven years old and has been part of our family for the past two years. Two
years ago we decided that we had room for another cat in the home so off
we went to the local animal shelter. In order for one to see the cats at
the shelter one has to walk through the dog kennels ... and there he was.
Donnie was sitting in a kennel as quiet as could be, with an enormous
amount of barking going on around him. I fell in love with him and three
days later he moved into our home as did another cat.
There is never a dull moment with Donald, if he's not herding the cats
he's trying to play ball, either throw and he'll fetch or play his
favorite ... soccer. Donnie brings us so much love and joy, that it's
difficult to believe that he once had a family that no longer wanted him.
Anyway we are the lucky ones, he is with us now in his forever home.
