Ace
is a 90-pound Doberman Pinscher that looks really scary (according to
some people) but he is a complete teddy bear. When we bought Ace we had two
dobermans to choose from and he did not want to come to us. He was really
shy and thats what made us fall in love with him because once he actually
came and let us pet him he was the sweetest dog ever.
Ace has been a great addition to our family. He is well behaved, good with
other pets, intelligent and loves chasing squirrels, cats, and tennis
balls. He is really playful, he's always ready to go to the dog park not to
play with other dogs but to play with tennis balls. The tricks he knows are
sit, lay down, play dead, give me one paw and then give me the other one
and high five as well. He also knows how to stay when I tell him to even
when I have food in front of him. He will drool though. His favorite games
are fetching the ball and hide and seek which I tell him to stay in the
kitchen and I go and hide somewhere around the house. He always manages to
find me. He is extremely needy for affection. If I'm next to him, he will
come and put his paw over my leg to make me pet him and he'll keep doing it
until I pet him. This family would not be the same without Ace.
