Duke
Maximus (Max for short) is a six-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. We
live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and got Max from a farm a long time ago
(we didn't know any better at the time). He is the best dog we could
have ever asked for! He is the most laid-back Jack Russell we have ever
owned! He wants nothing more than to just hang around and be snuggled.
He does like to run around and have fun when I feel like being active.
He loves to swim in the summer time with me. He also enjoying going to
work with me every day. I work at a doggie daycare so he gets to come
and help me run playgroup. We have also started a dog sport called
flyball. We only started this about a year ago! He is doing really well
for starting this late in his life. There is really nothing better then
spending an entire weekend racing with him! Max is very gentle. He loves
kids and hanging out with my rats (Artemis and Athena). For a little guy
he has a huge heart. He has really helped me with depression that I have
really been struggling with. His excitement is just contagious!

excited to play as you can tell by the huge grin on his face. Another
one is of Max and Kasey at work, Kasey is one of his flyball teamates.
Max is loved by many, dog and human alike!
