Scooter
was given to us when he was eight weeks old when we bought our other
dog, his sister, Sophie. Scooter was very sickly as a young pup and the
breeder predicted he wouldn't live long, but we never gave up on him. Now
he's my best friend, assisting me in everything from guarding the house to
herding the horses, despite the extreme size difference!
Scooter is friendly toward me and my parents, but is very over-protective and
won't let anyone near us when he's around. He's a bit nippy and has been
known to snap others before, but to us he's a darling sweet heart. As we tell
anyone who complains about him, "He wouldn't snap you if you were a better
friend/family member."
Scooter spends his time getting belly rubs and sleeping, as well as playing
toy. He likes going on horse back rides, as well. Scooter is a very special
dog and I love him with all of my heart!
