Sam
has been my rock since divorcing my husband earlier this year. He was a
joint purchase between us, but I cared for him more so I wanted to keep him.
Sam has provided me with so much love, loyalty and laughter and always knows
how to cheer me up.
Sam is a very active, energetic and loveable young dog. He loves to be chased
around the garden, go running in the park and play fight with my brother.
He's also very cuddly, he sleeps next to me on my bed (which I probably
shouldn't allow but I just can't say no to him haha).
He is very affectionate and loves nothing more than cuddling up on the sofa
and having his belly rubbed. That said, he is very protective of his treats
and will run into the garden when he gets his morning dentastick! He's also
fond of a little sunbathing when we get sunshine.
He is my first dog as an owner but as kids we had a mongrel called Bruce who
lived until age fifteen. He sadly died in 2000. Sam was a joint purchase between
my husband and I because we were living in a pub at the time and we agreed it
was lacking a certain something. We both wanted a dog but prior to running
the pub, we were both working thirteen-hour days in a bookmakers so it wouldn't have
been fair to the dog. Once we left the bookmakers, we got in touch with a
breeder who was friends with a girl who I had worked with and he had a litter
for sale. Sam was the last one.
When we separated in April, I moved back home to Liverpool and took Sam with
me as I was his main carer. And he has been great!
I have included some videos for you, Sam just running in the garden
and Sam's cushion.
See more images of Sam!
