Cassie
has been a member of my family from being six months old. We bought
Cassie from a puppy farm (which was unknown to us at the time) and the first
time I saw her she was in a small kennel by herself. Now, of course, we know
better than to support such places. She had no name and was not wanted. She
had been alone from the age of ten weeks old. You might have thought that her
first reaction to getting attention might have been to shy away, cower or be
aggressive, the truth is when she laid her beautiful eyes on us she started
barking and chasing her tail! That sealed it!
Cassie has always been a happy dog, even though she has had the struggles of
having cataracts in both of her eyes since birth. Cassie is loving, playful,
loyal, everything that mans best friend should be and more. If I'm feeling
sad, it's Cassie that's always there to pick me back up again. She truly is
my best friend and I am blessed to know her.
