Our
family rescued Rocky from the Humane Society when he was nine weeks old.
Ever since then, he has been an important part of our family. For the last
nine years he has been best friends with his "brother" Jeremiah. When
Jeremiah was a baby, Rocky would lie under Jeremiah's swing and guard him,
alert us whenever Jeremiah was crying and was always there to give lots of
kisses. He even taught Jeremiah how to walk by letting him hold on to him and
walking across the room. He also was who Jeremiah always snuggled up to when
he sucked his thumb.
Since then Rocky has been Jeremiah's sidekick in many imaginary battles, worn
many costumes and clothes, been a part of many tug of wars in the backyard,
gone on many walks tied to a power wheels Jeep and been an all around best buddy.
Rocky loves belly rubs, treats, going for walks, and going to Grandma's. He's
also called Dogzilla because he likes to be the center of attention and will
step on any board game that is being played on the floor or any lego
structure being built so that everyone pays attention to him and nothing else.
Sometimes Rocky likes to look smart and sophisticated and sometimes he likes
to hide and be warm and cozy, but he's not always happy when he gets dressed
up. He also likes to lie outside in the sun: it makes him smile!
