Becca
Grace is our seven-month-old Labrador Retriever/Coonhound mix. A week
after I'd lost my beloved sixteen-year-old Shiba Inu, Becca came into our
life. I wasn't really looking for another dog, but my three-year-old white
lab was just devastated with the loss of her big brother. Becca swooped in
and stole all our hearts and has become my white lab's BFF. They are inseparable!!
Becca's inner junkyard dog comes out every now and then (which is the most
fun sounding bark ever!), but when she is in the water, she's the "bestest,"
diving-est dog ever! I've never seen a dog dive under the water and swim like
a fish! It's amazing!! I am so thankful that we happened upon her and adopted
her just mere minutes after meeting her. We were the perfect fit!! This
picture is of her first time at the lake. Because she only generally played
in the kiddie pool or in the hose at home, she wasn't really sure what to do
at first. Once she figured it out, there was no stopping her ... even when
Mommy got scared when she dove for a rock on the bottom of the lake!
