This
is Lulu and she is a girl. She's a Basset Hound and lives with me and my
family in Denmark. After our Labrador died we didn't plan on getting another
dog, but my dad found out that one of his friends was selling puppies, so we
went to look and found this cute little Basset and we just fell in love with
her the moment we saw her, and we bought her the same day.
After out other dog died at the age of fourteen years I was really sad and missed
her so much, but I guess that getting a new dog helped my a lot. She is a
really friendly dog and loves when there is people to visit. She jumps around
and makes some grunting sound and then she runs around the whole house and
back, just so that she can jump around again.
I also think she is a bit weird, because she won't always eat her food but
other days she eats it, even when it was the same kind of food. Some of the
things I love the most about a Basset Hound is their big paws and long ears,
their front paws are twice the size of the back paws.
This is a picture of her relaxing in the shadow on a warm summer day, she
didn't want to stay still for this picture, she's about to move and jump
around because we just got home from town. I am so glad it turned out nice
and you can see how pretty she is!
