Gilmour
is very special to me because he is my first dog. He is probably seven
to ten months (not sure because he is a rescue).
My family has had a lot of dogs in the past and I have always wanted my own.
After many years of begging, I finally got a yes and saved up the money to
get a puppy. We looked at lots of breeds and lots of different breeders. We
got as far as picking a breeder and reserving a slot for a male pup.
Then, all of a sudden, the folks at Tarheel Weimaraner Rescue contacted us
about a dog that seemed like a perfect match. We went straight over to the
Vet to visit him, and as soon as I saw him I knew it was a perfect match. A
day or two later we went to take him home, and he has been perfect for us
ever since. He learns very quickly and he is real' smart, curious and
friendly - an all around perfect puppy!
