Trinity
is a very special dog. Everyone I have met says that Dalmatians are
stupid, mad and untrainable. I wanted to prove them wrong. I have always
wanted a Dalmatian so when I moved out, my friend suggested a good breeder
and Trinity came home with me. She has been an angel, and very easy to train.
After being house trained and knowing the basics by four months, she proves that
Dalmatians are very intelligent. She is able to educate people who don't
understand Dalmatians, and she's already convinced someone to get a Dalmatian
of their own.
She is extremely affectionate and loves everyone (she sleeps next to me at
night, and loves cuddles on the sofa). She chooses who she wants to like,
some people she ignores and doesn't go near, but others she'll run up and
greet no questions asked! She knows all the basics (sit, stay, stand, come
here, lie down) but also knows paw, hide and speak. She loves playing Frisbee
at the park, and also has her favorite toy, which is a small bear which she's
had since she was tiny.
I came up with her name sort of randomly. I've always been a fan of the
Matrix films and she's elegant and sleek like Trinity, but most of her spots
for triangles as well. It was just a name that suited her, and the first she
responded to. She is my best friend, and I look forward to spending the next
(hopefully) fifteen years with her.
