Toby
came to us only a month ago, we found him being beaten and kicked by his
previous owners. After we had intervened and asked them to stop, they stated
they couldn't be bothered with him and we could have him. Needless to say
Toby came home with us after that. After doing some research on his previous
owners, we found out they would regularly beat and kick him, give him no food or water.
We have fallen totally in love with him, everyone who has met him has
commented on how lovely he is. I've owned and worked with many dogs of all
different sizes, breeds and walks of life, but Toby has without doubt the
biggest heart of them all.
Despite his start in life, he has come on in leaps and bounds, he's such a
gentle, lovable and well behaved boy, he loves nothing more than cuddling up
and being made a fuss of. He loves running around in the countryside, and
jumping in lakes ... and has made a habit of running up to us and shaking all
the water onto us.
He came to us rather underweight, and in less than three weeks he has put it back
on and is full of life again. He's brought so much happiness to my life and
really brought a ray of light into it, I have a new reason to get up in the
morning. Not only have I given him a new spark in life, he has done the same
to me, I couldn't imagine my life without him now.
