Introducing
Obi-Wan, the Treeing Walker Coonhound. Born in the woods, this
"hunting dog" only tracks down cookies and doggie treats! He loves to play
and lick his brother's and Daddy's faces!
Obi is an amazing dog. He is crazy affectionate with me and our son. He loves
to be close to us, even if that means on us. Obi doesn't know many tricks,
but he sure does love to run, jump, catch, and sleep! He can easily jump
seven feet to get the treat and does this cool body shake in the air to go
higher. We are all so happy that Obi is in our lives, and especially I (never
having a pet before) have a new best friend!
Obi was a rescue from North Carolina where he was born in the woods as the runt of the
litter. The way we understand it is the mother passed away some time after
delivery and five weeks later a hunter found the pups and brought them to the
shelter. We adopted him two weeks later. Funny stories abound, but from the
beginning he wouldn't leave my side!
