Coco
is a very cuddly puppy his favorite place is to either be on your lap or
laying next to you. on sunny days he likes to take naps in the sun or the
shade when he gets hot. He loves his people, his "mom," me, being his
favorite. He has deemed himself my personal guard dog, and when my older
bother and I got into disagreements and he would come toward me in an
aggressive manner, Coco would put himself between us and growl at him as if
saying "don't you dare!"
Now I am at college, so I don't get to see him much, except when I visit home
and I've been hearing from my dad that Coco missed me very much and has
gotten a bit grumpy in my absence. The most recent time he visited me, he was
so happy to see me he ran to me when he saw me and gave me tons of kisses and
would not leave my side the whole time. He had a bad experience with another
dog when he was younger, so he is no longer a big fan of other dogs except a
friend of the family's dog, Lucy, and the late, Snickers, who used to be like
a "little brother" to him, that's the type of relationship they had. Now he
is starting to get along with our puppy, Bandit (who is now about six months
old). At times Bandit gets in his face and Coco does not like that, but other
times they're almost buds.
Coco loves to go on walks and has a bouncy happy walk that he does when he's
on a walk. He also loves to play keep away whether with a toy or himself(as
the object he's keeping away). Coco has been in obedience, agility, and rally
obedience classes with 4H (about six years now!), on the run, pet junction,
and stone mountain. With 4H Coco won first at county and state his first
year, and has gotten several since, among other high placings. He loves his
dog training classes. Coco loves to dig like all terriers, he likes to go
after rodents too. At night Coco likes to curl up right next to you on the
bed and under the blankets, and if you don't lift the blankets for him he
will paw at the edge of them, requesting that you lift them.
