This
is Buddy. I got Buddy from Angels of Assisi in Roanoke, Virginia in June 2013.
He looks like a Jack Russell, but is the quietest dog I ever had, and of
course we don't know what other breeds he may have in him. He only barks once
when he wants in. The only other time he barks is in his sleep.
He loves people, other dogs, and cats. He ignores squirrels, and chases
rabbits, but only a short ways. He must know he doesn't need to catch them,
as I do provide his dinner for him! His favorite things are walking, riding
in a car and sleeping. He is my best Buddy.
Buddy has no tricks or special talents except to make people smile. He has
been a special comfort to me. Buddy is part of my family. Any kindness I have
shown him has been returned more than twice fold. He has helped me through a
sad time in my life. Recently Buddy went on his first camping trip with me
and he seems like an old hand. I sent along a picture of him resting on one
of our hikes.
