Lily
is a rescue dog from the island of Anguilla in the Caribbean. She is
just a crazy girl, loves to cuddle, play and gives lots of kisses. She is a
very loving girl, who loves her mom, me very much, if I leave the room she
follows everywhere I go. If I go out to do an errand and come home it is like
she has not seen me for months. She does not like the rest of the family to
be near me, when my kids do she will whine and let them know that she needs
to be number one and the only one in my company. She is never aggressive.
We all think that either Lily was a cat in a past life or is going to be in
her next life, she uses her paws like a cat would, and even though she loves
to be with people she is quite independent as well. Lily is the most vocal
dog that I have ever come across, she makes lots of weird noises especially
when she is playing, she whines, cries, moans, has a fun growl, it makes us
all laugh when she really gets going.
She is a big chewer, and we have not lost anything of ours but she has
destroyed lots of toys. Her favorite is a hoof, when she gets a new one she
will find a spot and chew for hours, I am sure that her jaw gets tired but
she does not give up. She will get it down to a chiclet-size piece which we
have to take a away or I think she would swallow it whole.
Lily loves going on car rides, all you have to do is ask and she is at the
back door waiting, but she is totally nervous the entire time we are out ...
weird but I think it is because she wants to be with me and will do the whole
car thing just to be able to come.
