This
is Cozmo, Cozy for short! Cozy is an amazing dog, he is full of life. He
is a little blind and does not like to be too far away from his master. Even
thought he has trouble seeing very far, he does not let that stop him. Cozy
can hold his breath under water for a long time - I have not counted how long
- just trying to find a rock to give me! He is a small playful puppy in a big
strong dog's body.
Despite coming from two different herding breeds, Cozmo does not really herd
people, but does sometimes herd my two sheep from paddock to paddock. Cozmo
can't really stand to be too far away from me, I think that since he's
visually impaired, if I'm too far away he can't see me and gets worried.
His personality is really just so playful. He is only two years old, and is
always wanting to play! He will always bring a ball back to you if you throw
it. He knows how to sit, stay, come, lay down & shake. He will wait and not
even touch his food until he is told he can eat. Its funny when he see my cat
Jack, who is a old tabby. He whimpers and drops down to the ground as if Jack
was alpha. Cozmo will play any game as long as it has something to do with
moving, tug of war is a good one, but he never loses! He may be a youngish
puppy but he is very strong.
I go for a run down the road with him each day. He loves that, but nothing
can make him tired, he always has so much get up and go. He never really
wants to sleep, he always wants to play and be doing something. Cozmo never
lets anything bad happen to me. He is
very protective and won't let anyone he does not like come anywhere close to
me. Even with my friends, he still won't let them that close, he just won't
let anyone hurt me. He will always do what he is told though, no matter what
it is he will do it, but only if it is his master, me, telling him!
